Kimberly and Brad Visit Malibu Vineyards

We love our friends! And we love our wines! And we love our friends who make wine!

I’m a former resident of Malibu, California, and still have some amazing friends who reside there. Irene and Jim Palmer, owners of Malibu Vineyards, invited Brad and me to assist in harvesting their crops and spend the day enjoying the fruits of our labor, literally.

Locally grown, Malibu Vineyards either uses grapes from their own vineyard or sourced grapes from other vineyards throughout the central California coast. Their beautiful property is covered with Italian olive trees and surrounded by spectacular views of the foliage-covered hilltops. Seven days a week, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, you can partake in wine tasting and all it would cost you is a bottle of wine.

After picking grapes and learning a great deal about wine, we spent the rest of our time enjoying the sunny weather and fresh ocean air, drinking delicious wine, and spending time with our friends. Jim is a consummate businessman, but he lives and breathes wine-making because it’s his delight.

Irene has a certain flair about her which makes her fun and fabulous. Gracious and lovely, Jim and Irene have made Malibu Vineyards such a remarkable place and I’m so happy Brad and me got the chance to savor its flavor and ambiance.

If you’re ever in the Malibu area and are looking for something fun to do, check out Malibu Vineyards. Tell them Brad and Kimberly sent you and you just might get a funny story out of Jim Palmer!
