Life-management expert, celebrity hypnotist, and co-star of Sin City Rules, Kimberly Friedmutter, offers her perspective on being a part of TLC’s newest reality television series.

Friedmutter, who is married to famous Las Vegas architect, Brad Friedmutter, expressed her opinions on the drama aspect, something most reality TV shows are known for. She simply wants no part of it. Even though Friedmutter lives a lavish lifestyle, travels extensively and owns a spectacular home, named Shangri-Las Vegas, she believes that experience and maturity has brought her to a place where drama is not necessary.

While Friedmutter keeps her emotions in check, she has come to like and admire her fellow Sin City Rules cast mates. So far, her interactions with the other ladies have been pleasant and entertaining, however, Friedmutter doesn’t know how long that will last:

“I haven’t encountered any problems [yet]. What surprises me is the age verses the maturity of the women. Age is supposed to be a beautiful thing and you’re supposed to be this many years wise.  I’m not seeing the behavior match the wisdom that should be at that age. Some of the cast mates have tremendous wisdom, but some don’t.”

Friedmutter started appearing on TLC’s Sin City Rules during its fourth episode. The show features six prominent Las Vegas women and follows their lives and interactions with one another. So far, tensions have been high amongst a few of the cast members but according to Friedmutter, the ladies of Sin City will not see anything climatic from her:

“The girls would tell you that I’m not very emotional and they’re wrong. I’m extremely emotional, but I don’t show a lot of unwarranted or inappropriate emotion. There’s a difference. These are the things about me that they don’t know.”

Only time will tell if the conflicts on the show will escalate or become resolved, however, Friedmutter says she will just continue on with business as usual. In the past few years, Friedmutter, has turned her home designing talents into a professional pursuit. Shangri-Las Vegas, which was featured in the fifth episode, was inspired by her worldwide travels and Friedmutter’s beliefs that a person’s surroundings reflect his or her inner-self. Friedmutter, like her home, tries to maintain a calm and stress-free environment unlike some of her fellow cast mates.

“They have very dramatic lives and I like to keep my drama at a low.”
