How to Make a Bungalow in the City

Oh, how I love Florida! Hookahs, palm fronds, futons! wnd qe love the Delano Hotel, but stay various places depending on the “vacay” agenda.

So I took this photo while I was staying in Florida because this is a prime example of what you can do in your own backyard! If you have any wasted space that is under-utilized, take it from me…use it. It’s easy to get stuck with what is; maybe you think it’s too time consuming or expensive to make changes. Well, that is simply not the case and I’m using this bungalow as the perfect example.

You can make your own bungalow! It doesn’t have to be this professional.

You can use a futon, some wood supports, fabric or green screen background (screens with artificial leaves), and voilà!  You definitely don’t need much space for this one!

Here’s a great tip: use inexpensive table cloths as colorful sheets, pillowcases, and drapes! They already have hems, come in all sizes, colors, and shapes and you can just change them out seasonally to match. You don’t even need a fabric store or sewing machine! And for your efforts, expect a great bungalow get-a-way for yourself.  It was that easy.
