The Joy of Animals and Pets

I often judge character, right or wrong, by how someone treats precious creatures. It doesn’t mean you have to have a pet; but how you deal with animals says a lot about a person.

I like it when souls are gentle to other souls. I learned how to skin a deer as a young girl. The idea of it made me sad, however, the technique really fascinated me. I don’t eat venison since I ate too much as a child; I lost the taste for the gentle animal.
I love pets, in general. They need us and we need them!  The joy you feel when a little wet nose touches your cheek or when their heartbeat is racing while you’re holding them close; they are special and touch us in so many ways.
Animals give me joy I’ve never imagined was possible! Love your pets and let them love you, too.
