Kimberly Friedmutter’s Exclusive Interview with Hollywood Life

Life-management expert, celebrity hypnotist, and co-star of TLC’s Sin City Rules, Kimberly Friedmutter, was interviewed by Hollywood Life, offering a look into what her life is like beyond the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. Friedmutter invited Hollywood Life and crew aboard her yacht, aptly named Kimberly, and provided insight about her home, her career, and TLC’s newest reality television series.

Described as down-to-earth with a flair of good old Southern charm, Friedmutter and her world-renowned architect husband, Brad, spoke with Hollywood Life about her home, Shangri-Las Vegas. Not only did they hear about the huge 15,000-square-foot Las Vegas mansion, but the entire crew was also taken there via a private jet. Meticulously designed and decorated by the Friedmutters, Shangri-Las Vegas is a breathtaking residence that makes a person feel at home despite its enormous size:

“It’s really an oasis in the desert.  We really just wanted to make every room a place that’s calm and welcoming and unique. You can escape anywhere and be any place in the world in this home.”

Friedmutter is also accomplished in home decor. And it shows! She started her own home decor collection which is named after her home, Shangri-Las Vegas. Friedmutter still focuses on her skills in life-management and hypnotherapy. In fact, her professional abilities helped her navigate through all the drama and angst on her new show Sin City Rules:

“These girls are fun and there’s a lot of drama going on and I’m the new girl so it’ll be interesting but with my expertise in hypnosis and my ability to read through people, I’ll be able to tell the difference between the real and the fake.”

TLC’s Sin City Rules follows the lives and interactions of six prominent career women in Las Vegas. Kimberly Friedmutter recently appeared on the fourth episode of the show and her home, Shangri-Las Vegas, was featured during the fifth episode.
